What will a worship service be like?

Family Worship Center is a full gospel church that encourages people to worship the Lord as they feel comfortable. Our music is contemporary and designed to give honor to the Lord and to draw us into His presence. The Word will be preached in a friendly and inspirational manner with applicable biblical truths for your daily lives.

What should I wear to church?

You will see a varitey of dress at any given service – from jeans to suits, shorts to dresses. Come as you are comfortable is an appropriate guide.

Are there programs for my children?

We have Children’s and Youth ministries for all ages at all services. We are committed to making these services exciting for the children so that they will want to come back again and again!

Will I feel comfortable as a visitor?

Absolutely! It is our desire that you feel a part of our family. We have many visitors at each service and strive to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

Will I know what to do when I get there?

There are Greeters at every door who can help direct you to the main sanctuary or children’s ministry areas. They will be glad to assist you.

Will I be asked to make an offering?

Although an offering is received at every service, there is no pressure to give for visitors or members. Visitors are encouraged to be our guest and find out who we are before making any financial gift.

Do I need to become a member?

No, all are welcome to worship with us at FWC. However, there are scheduled membership classes for those who are interested in finding out more about membership and opportunities to serve at FWC.

Do you have special communion services?

Communion is observed the first Sunday of every month at 10:00 am.

What denomination are you a part of?

We are affiliated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. “Foursquare” is a biblical term that described the altar in the Book of Exodus (27:1), the courtyard of the Lord’s temple (Ezekiel 40:47), and Heaven itself (Revelation 21:16). It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established, and enduring. Such confidence in the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse, Hebrews 13:8, displayed in all Foursquare churches proclaiming, “Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today and forever.” The four squares symbolize Jesus Christ as The Savior, The Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, The Healer, and The Soon-Coming King.
