Philippians 3:14We believe that children are of great importance to God and His church. We strive to create an environment where kids come to know the one true God personally and are able to apply the Bible to real life. You can be assured your kids are hearing a message that will impact them on their level. Each class has an age specific, fully interactive curriculum that not only provides bible-based teaching, but incorporates action singing, puppets, drama, object lessons, exciting stories, illustrated sermons, memory verse contests, prizes and MORE!Sunday morning classes:

JBQ

Sunday mornings at 8:45 am

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) was created and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God’s Word. Through cooperative learning, children work together on teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak. Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for a fun quizzing match. It has been said that JBQ is the fastest growing discipleship program in children’s ministry.

Royal Rangers and Mpact Ministries

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm

Royal Rangers Ministries (Boys in grades K-7)The mission of Royal Rangers is to reach, teach, and keep boys for Christ! The purpose of the Royal Rangers ministry is to evangelize boys for Christ, develop the total boy for Christ (spiritually, physically, mentally and socially), and keep boys in our churches. Besides age-appropriate biblical teaching, the life of a RR includes great outdoor adventures: camping, water activities, hiking, paint-balling and ice fishing, as well as challenging indoor adventures.

Mpact Girls Ministries (Girls in grades K-7)Mpact Girls Clubs is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders. Some of our annual events include a Spring campout, a mother-daughter tea, a father-daughter event, and a church-wide girls sleepover.

Rainbows

(Pre-school boys and girls)

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm

A program for 3, 4 and PreK boys and girls, the Rainbows Club follows a Noah’s Ark theme. Each month the focus is on a specific animal and central truth such as prayer, sharing, obedience, and God’s love. The children enjoy a variety of activities each week, including story time, prayer, games, crafts and snacks.

Nursery

(Infants-2 years)

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm

We not only want your child to feel loved, but kept safe as well. We have a wonderful group of parent volunteers that will assist you in any way they can regarding your little one. Upon dropping your child off, you will be given a security number specific to your child. When picking up your child, you must present this security paper to the room coordinator. Our goal is for the parent to enjoy the service and have the peace of mind that their child is being well taken care of. We offer nursery care during all of our services for children from birth through two years of age. Additionally, a nursing room is available to all mothers during the service.

Other Cool Kid’s Stuff

Children’s Fine Arts Ministries: Children ranging in age from 3 years through the 6th grade have a variety of opportunities to participate in music and other fine arts programs at FWC.

Our Handbell Choir is for children in grades K through 2, and is directed by Kristi Noem. The Handbell Choir provides special music for our Children’s Christmas Program as well as other special events throughout the year.
The 5th-8th grade Youth Orchestra meets seasonally to provide special numbers at holiday programs, Mother’s or Father’s Day services and other special events.
Our annual Children’s Christmas Musical is a highlight of the year. A different theme every year, our 1st-6th grade children use music, drama and comedy to bring focus and special meaning to our celebration of Jesus’ Birth. But we don’t forget our little ones! All children ages 3 years through K will be involved in a special Christmas Program of their own.

Additionally, our children’s ministries program spearheads annual events sure to provide fun, fellowship and spiritual growth for our kids. Jam Camp, Vacation Bible School, and our Children’s Ministries Sunday rock the traditional. Interactive and exciting, these events are sure to grab kids’ attention while imparting God’s truth in new and impactful ways!
