Community Outreach

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me.”

Whether it’s working from our church property or locking arms with the other outreach programs throughout the Watertown area and this nation, FWC is working hard to deliver the love and message of Christ in a tangible way. By working with our own and other established outreach programs, we have many opportunities for individuals to offer their time and compassion for those in need.

Adopt-A-Family

Watertown-area and FWC families that are experiencing financial difficulty are adopted by other families or groups who provide them with food, gifts, clothing, etc. during the holidays. This is a short-term commitment and is a true blessing for those who do not have the means to buy gifts for their children or a tasty holiday meal.

Senior Adult Ministry

We love to visit our friends in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. If you have a special place in your heart for the elderly or home-bound, please let us know your ideas. There are opportunities for group and one-on-one time, as well as activities such as Bible studies, parties, gift giving, and a card ministry. We also prepare and deliver over 400 fruit/candy bags, sing carols and share a devotional during the holiday season. Contact us about Senior Adult Ministry

Men’s Prison Ministry

Wednesdays @ 6 pm

Jesus Himself said, “I was in prison and you came to Me.”  How is that possible…when we do it to the least of these, we have done it unto Him. This group of men meets every Wednesday night to take God’s Word to the local Detention Center. Through times of worship, sharing the word, and powerful testimonies, the active work of the Holy Spirit is transforming lives.
