Hebrews is written to Jewish Christians who were facing persecution and being tempted to return to Judaism. The book answers key questions about the believer's relationship to God in a deeper way than anywhere else in the Bible. "What is my relationship as a Christian to the Old Testament Law of Moses?" "Do Christianity and Judaism, two of the three dominant world religions, teach basically the same thing?" and, "Did Christ's sacrifice on the cross pay the entire penalty for my sin forever, or is there something else I must do to be accepted by God?" These life-changing questions, and others, are answered conclusively in Hebrews.
